I'm in the middle of moving.
To kill the time, I've been watching a lot of TV and movies.
After binging my way through Game of Thrones , I stumbled across a documentary called Minimalism on Netflix.
Minimalism examines the many flavors of minimalism by taking the audience inside the lives of minimalists from all walks of life—families, entrepreneurs, architects, artists, journalists, scientists, and even a former Wall Street broker—all of whom are striving to live a meaningful life with less.
I highly recommend checking it out: it makes some pretty valid examinations of consumerism vs. happiness.
Research has shown that life satisfaction is correlated with having less, not more, material items.
Surprise, surprise, right?
Watching the documentary while moving has been a blessing and a curse....
Because now that I'm almost done, it feels like I just gave away all of my sh*t, lmao.
But it's all good.. because who really needs stuff anyway?
